About this 1969 Volvo 142S

VIN:

We are excited to offer this extremely rare and very cool 1969 Volvo 142S.

This car is a bit out of our regular offerings of perfect collector cars, but we just could not resist this charming, cool Volvo. How can you?

This is a Volvo 142S. Last year with the small bumper, pre smog, pop out window, 2 dr sedan. We bought this Volvo from the original owner 5 years ago and sorted and modified it to be daily driver and a Cars and Coffee head turner.

Over the past 5 years, the car received a lot of new parts and improvements:

-Gas tank and fuel lines cleaned/new.
-New brake lines and booster.
-New progressive lowering springs
-New complete custom exhaust system with Dyna flow muffler
-New Weber 38/38 DGV Carburetor (removed Strombergs included)
-New Ignition Coil
-New Ignition Points & Condensor
-New Spark Plugs
-New Oil Pressure Switch
-New Thermostat
-New Valve Cover Gasket
-New Front Main Seal
-New Fuel Pump
-New Fan Clutch
-New Heater Hoses
-New Radiator Hoses
-New Coolant Reservoir Cap
-Valve Adjustment
-Poly Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushings
-Poly Rear Trailing Arm Bushings
-New Upper and Lower Front Ball Joints
-Tie Rods and Center Link
-Idler Arm Bushing
-Panhard Rod Bushing
-Front and Rear Bilstein B6 Shocks
-Front Alignment
-Parking Brake Cable
-Parking Brake Shoes/Hardware
-Rear Discs/Pads/Hoses

50% original paint left with fantastic patina. Rock solid body with great lines, no major rust. Fender tips in the rear and battery box need some tlc. Solid floors! All original glass with Volvo stamps.

The car has only 137k original miles, hardly broken in for the world record B20 motor. The car runs great and will move with freeway traffic all day long.

4 spd, no OD. Perfect (I mean perfect) dashboard, all gauges work. Seats and carpets need some work, but usable as is.

The Volvo is used as a semi daily driver currently, very dependable and thumbs up wherever you go!

It comes with 3 sets of wheels/tires:

Original Volvo steel wheels with caps and beauty rings (tires bad)
Original Volvo 780 15×7” aluminum wheels with almost new Firestrone Firehawk AS tires and the currently mounted, new custom made 8×16 steel wheels with very good tires.

Impossible to find a cooler car for less money.
