Cooper Classics has the pleasure of offering for sale this 1967 911S Sunroof which has been restored to near Concours level. This beauty retains both its matching numbers engine and transmission, as confirmed by the COA. This 1967 911S is from the first year of 911S production. This 911 presents as new inside, outside, and underneath, with paint that looks new, a freshly reupholstered interior with new seat upholstery, and it received a full engine rebuild on its matching numbers original engine in May 2022 by Porsche experts RennWerke Porsche with all receipts. The Bahama Yellow was replaced by a brighter Yellow by the previous owner who is a renowned Porsche Collector. The car has a few carefully selected tasteful upgrades, which include RS Style Door Panels, and a Rear Seat delete (with upholstered carpet). The original matching numbers 5 speed transmission shifts like butter and the car stops on a dime. The rarely seen and often deleted Webasto Heater is present and in restored condition. The car was owned most of its life by a renowned Porsche collector who restored it to his own taste. We recently took this 911S out for a 50 mile drive and it drives like a brand new 1967 911 would with plenty of power compared to a regular 911 and sporty and exciting driving dynamics. The 911S was extremely popular as it had 30% more power than a 911, at 160HP. The extremely rare Electric Sunroof works perfectly and is a dream on nice sunny days. This 911S comes with its COA, Books, Tools, and Spare Wheel
