For Sale: 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible - Impeccably Restored and Maintained with Documentation

This stunning 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible is a timeless example of classic American luxury, with a comprehensive history of restoration and meticulous upkeep that reflects its distinguished lineage. Originally purchased in Colorado in 2004, this Continental underwent a 100% Nut and Bolt restoration by renowned Lincoln specialist Lincoln Land, spanning 2004 to 2006. Since then, it has received periodic updates, ensuring that it remains in superb mechanical and aesthetic condition.

The extensive restoration work included:

Body and Paint: Disassembly of the entire vehicle for paint correction and restoration. All chrome components were rechromed, and new weather stripping and seals were installed throughout.

Engine and Drivetrain: A complete engine rebuild was performed in 2005, and a three-year warranty was included. Lincoln Land restored the transmission with new mounts, vacuum hoses, and wiring harnesses, while the power steering, brakes, and exhaust systems were also overhauled. The car was further enhanced with a custom 100-amp alternator and stainless steel exhaust.

Interior and Electrical: The interior was treated to sound-deadening materials, new leather upholstery, and carpets. Electric locks, door actuators, and relays were installed, alongside restored dash components, gauges, and an upgraded audio system (since been retuned to factory). Window regulators were updated, and multiple switches were replaced over time to ensure smooth and responsive operation.

Convertible Top: The convertible frame was sandblasted, repainted, and fitted with a new top and a dedicated hydraulic motor in 2016. The complex rear auto-drop windows were also adjusted and tested for flawless functionality.
In 2015, it received a full exterior refresh at Color Concepts Speed and Customs. The Lincoln was meticulously prepared for repaint, moldings were removed and adjusted, and the final paintwork was of show-quality caliber. All of this work was completed under the close supervision of Lincoln Land.

Since then, notable service and maintenance highlights include:

2019: Service and testing of the convertible top operation, repair and alignment of windows, and installation of a new A/C expansion valve and condenser for a fully functioning climate control system.

2021: Comprehensive service with Motul Classic oil, DOT3 Textar brake fluid, and chassis lubrication.

2023: The most recent service by The Canelli’s Inc., including a new fuel gauge circuit, oil change, window motor repair, front seat slider adjustment, and a carburetor service.
