This 1966 Ford F250 Custom Cab Camper Special was originally purchased new at Eaton Ford in Eaton, Colorado, and has stayed in Northern Colorado since 2019 when I relocated it to Vermont. This 100% original truck has not been modified, or customized aside from the gun rack the original owner installed. Original items such as the steel 2-piece steel wheels with matching spare, and even the washer fluid bladder are all there. Some professional restorative work has been done by Vermont custom Auto Service Inc, such as new cab and radiator supports, rebuilt front king Pins, bushings, radius arm and bushings, rear shocks, duel master power brakes. Interior carpet and seat covers have been replaced (I still have the original seat covers that will be included) It is in near perfect condition, garage stored and inspected annually.
Under the hood sits the original V-8 mated to the original 4-on-the-floor manual transmission. And with a little over 43,000 original miles, it has quite a bit of life left to give to its next lucky owner. Engine turns over and starts right up.
The truck can handle the highway easily and is easy to drive around town. It's not perfect by any means and if you're expecting that, it's not with this truck but it is mechanically sound. The body has aged incredibly well for what it's been put through and its age, and the paint's patina is gorgeous. There are a few dents here and there but nothing big. There is minimal surface rust from it sitting outside during a majority of its life but nothing on the frame or other common bad spots with this body style. This is a work truck that will look good anywhere.
It's ready to go off to its new home, the perfect truck for restoration or even just leaving as-is. It would even be a great truck for a business as it turns heads everywhere it goes. Coming with the truck will be a folder of papers, repair manual, and a few spare maintenance parts, original split wheels.
