This is our family's one-of-a-kind time capsule to the "60's! It's grandpa's 1965 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Holiday Coupe bought new at C.M. Murphy Oldsmobile in San Francisco on June 30, 1965. Marketed as a spirited coupe for business managers, this Mohave Mist 2-door clocked 18,000 original miles commuting 30 miles to work until he passed in January 1968. Grandma didn't drive, so it sat garaged for the next 54 years! It remains 99% untouched and original. After a thorough cleaning and replacement of rubber engine and brake components for safety, this iconic specimen of extinct American automotive styling fired right up and is on the road again. The 425ci "Super Rocket" engine propels it down the highway at 80 mph+ as quiet and smooth as the day it left the factory. Popular on the road and at car shows, this preservation-class gem catches eyes and attention at every stop! It is not perfect with a few dings and chips, but it is the lowest mileage "as-was" example most folks ever see.
