I inherited the car in 2014.This car replaced a similar 63' that was used in the series "Crime Story" where my father leased to the production company of Michael Mann, for use as the main characters car. it ended up in the last episode in Vegas where it was totaled on the old main drag downtown, without my fathers knowledge. After a lengthy lawsuit he found this car and another newer Lincoln as compensation. I have approximately $3000 in parts from the previous including bumpers, chrome and stainless trim, and a green tinted windshield with gasket, which are included in the asking price. I have the original steel wheels and caps. This car was completely disassembled for the purpose of a color change from emerald green to current arctic white. This was done prior to my fathers acquisition. I have complete photo documentation of the restoration that includes highly detailed description of all parts and repairs. Also included a letter of provenance from the second owner and copy of the original title from 04-25-1963. The first owner was Julian Funt, a writer for soap operas including "Search For Tomorrow". The manhattan residents New York parking sticker is still applied to the front bumper. It is the basic model without A/C and had 72000+ miles on it when he sold it. The engine was rebuilt after developing a rod knock. The fresh engine has approximately 3000 miles on it and runs very well. It has been garage kept the entire time. The convertible top function has been gone thru and operates normally. I replaced the power steering pump. The car needs some repairs for leaks including steering box and rear end yoke seals. Also the paint needs attention. Original brake drums are worn out. I rarely use it, car show once or twice a year. Time for a new home.
