About the Model:
The Chevrolet C10 was the rear wheel drive, 1/2 ton variant for the 1st Gen Chevrolet C/K that debuted for the 1960 model year. Only available in a standard cab pickup body style, these trucks were available with two bed lengths (6.5 feet or 8 feet), with the Stepside or Fleetside beds. The Stepside bed featured fenders and a step in front of the rear wheel, while the Fleetside bed featured straight sides. Over the course of production, the 1st Gen C10 was powered by a selection of inline six engines, as well as an optional V8, with power ranging from 135hp to 220hp. Both manual and automatic gearboxes were offered. Production of the 1st Gen Chevrolet C10 lasted until 1966, when Chevrolet introduced the 2nd Gen C/K.
