This '58 Chevy Apache is nearly original - paint, interior/seat, uncut dash, engine, transmission, and body panels. It has never had a radio or antennae. The engine was rebuilt about 20 years ago and was bored to be a 261 with a 261 head, the original 235 head can go with it if wanted. The rear bumper has been replaced, I have the original bumper if wanted. The engine starts and runs very well. The truck does wander some on the road, I had my very experienced mechanic check it out and he replaced a few front end parts, and said the rest of the front end including the bushings are fine. I believe it could use a front end alignment. The rear differential was taken apart so it has new oil and seals, the gears were fine. It has new shocks within the last few years. It does have some rust through, but this truck is at least 90% solid. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck to the West Coast, it is mechanically sound. I have taken it out for a few 100 mile trips, loaded it up with firewood and it has plenty of power with the 261 engine. Brakes and clutch are good, along with the tires. There is some extra chrome trim and a radio if wanted.
