What's your car worth? Track it in Garage now arrow_forward
I believe my dad bought it new in 52. He parked it in 66 under a car port until the 90’s. Stored outside till 2012. Stored inside since. When outside, kids broke windows and stole shift knob. Some adult must have stolen metal visor. I could swear it had one. I believe metal floors in cab and box are intact. Don’t know why dad parked it. It could have been something with drive train. It was such a gas hog he probably thought it would be cheaper to buy a used pickup with better mpg than fix it. It hasn’t really rusted through much anywhere. Everything was such a heavy gauge. It looks like mostly a heavy 18 ga by today’s standards for metal thickness. This has original factory metal sideboards on the box and they are in very good shape. They are as scarce as hens teeth and I believe they may be worth more than the truck. We have title in hand. Footboard was bent up by farm tenant pushing it sideways to get it out of way for mowing. Very sad day for me. Thanks for looking. I think it would make a good rat rod even though it is still all original. Make an offer, you never know if you don’t my 2 sisters and I are selling as my mom just passed away at 98. I always thought I would fix it up myself, but I am too old now and there isn’t much joy if somebody else fixes it up for you at a pretty penny. You must pick it up. No shipping paid by seller.
