Plymouth Volare
1976 to 1980
Plymouth was an American automotive manufacturer that was first founded in 1928. Plymouth was part of the Chrysler Corporation, and was created to compete against more entry level offerings from Chevrolet and Ford. During its time, Plymouth created some notable and highly desirable models such as the Belvedere, Barracuda, GTX, Road Runner, Superbird, and Prowler. Plymouth saw declining fortunes during the 1980s and 1990s, eventually being discontinued as a brand in 2001.
