Introduced in 1948, the Wolseley 6/80 was to remain a rare sight on British roads until the fifties due to the concentration on the export market. These cars were powered by a 2.2L inline six engine, paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. The Wolseley 6/80 is particularly remembered as the police car of choice for the early fifties. They were replaced by the 6/90 in 1954.
