The Wolseley 1500 had its third generation introduced in 1961 as the MKIII. These rear wheel drive cars were powered by a 1.5L (1.2L for the Irish market) inline four engine paired to a manual transmission.The MKIII had larger front grille, a slightly lower suspension, the seat backs were thiner and the coverings monotone. It was replaced by the Wolseley 1100 in 1965, but remained in production until 1967.
