The 264 whose name stands for 200 Series, 6 cylinders, 4 doors, was built in a sedan body style, and was powered by Volvo's 'Douvrin' engine, which was a V6 that originally displaced 2.7L, but grew to 2.8L in 1980. This engine was paired to manual or automatic transmission options to send drive to the rear wheels. Production of the Volvo 264 lasted until 1982.
