For the 2000 model year, TVR reintroduced the famed Tuscan name for a new series of sports cars. Known as the Tuscan Speed Six, this new iteration of the Tuscan was offered in a two door convertible targa top body style, and featured a front mounted inline six engine. Over the course of production, this 'Speed Six' inline six engine was available in 3.6L, 4.0L, and 4.2L displacements, all of which were paired to a 5 speed manual transmission that sent power to the rear wheels. Production of the TVR Tuscan Speed Six ended in 2006.
