The TVR 390SE was a series of sports cars that were introduced for the 1985 model year. The 390SE was offered in a two door convertible body style, and was powered by a 3.9L V8 engine that had an output of 275hp and 270 lb ft of torque. Power from this engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission. Due to a complicated issue with UK registration, all 390SE cars were registered as 3.5L cars that were fitted with upgrades. Production of the TVR 390SE lasted until 1989 with an estimated 100 examples built.
