The Toyota Land Cruiser 20 Series was produced for model years 1955-1960. The 20 Series introduced the iconic “Land Cruiser” model name and the Type-F engine. The Land Cruiser 20 Series put Toyota into mass international markets and, by 1958, reached the American and European civilian markets. The Type-F engine combined with performance and cosmetic modifications solidified the Land Cruiser’s reputation for rugged durability and power.
