The Suzuki Carry is a series of compact vans and pickups that were introduced for the 1962 model year. The Carry name was used exclusively until 1982, when passenger van versions became known as the Every. Over the course of production, the Carry / Every has been built in eleven generations, always featuring a front mid engined layout. In 1981, Suzuki also added all wheel drive variants to the existing rear wheel drive versions.
