The fifth generation of Subaru Impreza was introduced for the 2017 model year. The fifth generation Impreza was offered as a range of compact sedans and hatchbacks, and featured a hybrid flat four engine option alongside two standard flat four engines. The fifth generation does not feature a performance variant as the Subaru WRX had been spun off into its own model.
