SSC North America is an American automotive manufacturer that was founded in 1998. Established by Jerod Shelby (no relation to Carroll), SSC is known for having built what was, for nearly three years, the world's fastest production car, the Ultimate Aero. Just 24 of these record setting cars were built between 2014 and 2015. In recent times, the company has introduced its latest hypercar, the Tuatara.
