The Saturn Sky was a family of sports cars that were introduced for the 2007 model year. The Sky was offered in a two door convertible body style that featured a folding cloth roof, and shared the same platform as the Pontiac Solstice. Both Base and Red Line trim levels were offered, with the base version featuring a 177hp 2.4L inline four engine, while the performance focused Red Line featured a turbocharged 260hp 2.0L inline six. These engines were available with a 5 speed manual or 5 speed automatic transmission, both of which sent drive to the rear wheels. A dealer-installed turbo upgrade package was also offered on the Red Line that increased engine output to 290hp. Production of the Saturn Sky ended in late 2009 when GM decided to discontinue the Saturn brand, but remaining examples were sold until the 2010 model year with a total of 34,415 examples built.
