The second generation of Saab 900 was introduced for the 1994 model year. The second generation of 900 was also known as the 'New Generation' and was offered in two hatchback body styles, as well as one convertible option. A V6 or a range of naturally aspirated or turbocharged inline four engines powered the second generation 900 which was produced until 1998.
