The Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid was the first hybrid variant of the Porsche Cayenne to be introduced. The Cayenne S Hybrid was a variant of the 958.1 Cayenne that debuted for the 2011 model year. These new hybrids were powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine that was paired to a 47hp electric motor to give a combined output of 370hp and 428 lb ft of torque. Drive from the powerplant was sent to all four wheels through an 8 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 958.1 Cayenne S Hybrid ended in 2014, when it was replaced by the new 958.2 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid.
