Debuting for the 2009 model year, the Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia was a special edition, limited production variant of the 957 Cayenne. The Cayenne S Transsyberia was created to celebrate Porsche's dominant and successive victories in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Transsyberia Rally. This special edition featured the engine from the 957 Cayenne GTS, which was a naturally aspirated 4.8L V8 with 399hp and 369 lb ft of torque. Power from this engine was sent to all four wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission. In addition to this capable powertrain, the S Transsyberia was given actively managed air suspension, front and rear skidplates, and a lower final drive ratio that improved off-road performance. Just a total of 600 examples of the Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia were built before 2010.
