The 997.2 Porsche 911 was the second evolution of the 997 Porsche 911. Introduced for the 2008 model year, the 997.2 saw small cosmetic and mechanical improvements over the previous 997.1 Porsche 911. These famed sports cars were available in a wide range of variants, including the Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, GT3, GT3 RS, and Turbo amongst its most notable offerings. Production of the 997.2 Porsche 911 lasted until 2013, when it was replaced by the updated 991 Porsche 911.
