The Pontiac Firebird two-door coupe was the most common Firebird made available compared to the convertible. Over 250,000 coupes were built in the 1st generation. These cars were all offered with a variety of inline-six and V8 engines. The Firebird remained one of the most popular muscle cars from the era and continued production until 2002.
