Peterbilt is an American truck manufacturer. Founded in 1939, Peterbilt has long been known for building a wide range of medium to large commercial vehicles, but is probably most well known for their semi trucks. T.A. Peterman first founded Peterbilt as he struggled to find a vehicle capable of hauling large amounts of lumber. Peterbilt trucks have been utilized for hauling, service, and vocational uses, among others.
