The W.A. Paterson Company was an American automotive manufacturer that was founded in 1869 in Flint, Michigan. Originally a carriage manufacturer, Paterson turned its attention to automobiles beginning in 1909. The company went on to produce a wide range of cars powered by inline two, inline four, and inline six engines. After the passing of William A. Paterson in 1921, the company was eventually sold in 1923 before being shut down entirely.
