The first generation of Nash Statesman was introduced for the 1950 model year. The first generation Statesman was offered as a two door sedan, four door sedan, or two door coupe, all of which were fitted with a 3.0L inline six engine. A base 'Special' and luxury 'Custom' trim levels were offered for the first generation Statesman which was built until 1951, when the Second Generation Nash Statesman was introduced.
