The Nash Ambassador was a series of luxury cars introduced in 1932. From 1927 until 1932, Nash had used the Ambassador name as the top trim level for its Advanced Six model, but in 1932, the Ambassador became its own model, representing the top of the Nash model lineup. Production of the Ambassador was interrupted by WW2 leading to Pre-War and Post-War models. Although most Nash models lost their 'Nash' designation in 1954 with the merger of Nash and Hudson, the Ambassador continued with the Nash name until 1957 when it became the AMC Ambassador.
