D. Napier & Son Limited, better known as Napier, was an English automotive manufacturer that traces its roots to 1808. Originally, the company began as an engineering firm, before moving into engines and automobiles in the early Twentieth Century. Napier produced a wide range of luxury automobiles in a variety of body styles until the early 1920s, when the company shifted into the aerospace engine segment.
