The seventh generation of Morgan 4/4 was designated 1800 for its use of 1.8L inline four engines. The 4/4 1800 was introduced for the 1994 model year This new generation debuted with a 1.8L Ford 'Zetec R' inline four engine that produced 114hp, but from 2006 onwards, Morgan fitted a 1.8L Ford 'Duratec' inline four unit that generated 125hp. Production of the 4/4 1800 ended in 2009 when Morgan introduced the new series of 4/4, the 1.6 Litre.
