The final iteration of the Morgan 4/4 was known as the 1.6 Litre. This final update to the 4/4 was most notable for its 110hp 1.6L Ford 'Sigma' engine paired to a five speed manual transmission. Initially, Morgan used a Ford gearbox, but in 2012, they began using a Mazda-sourced transmission. Production of the Morgan 4/4 ended in 2019 when the model was no longer capable of passing emissions regulations.
