Militaire, later known as Militor, was an American motorcycle manufacturer. The company started out in 1911 with an independent idea of a motorcycle with hub center steering, and retractable outrigger wheels in the rear. The initial powerplant was 1065cc inline 4 that made 11hp. The non-conventional design and mechanical complexity were a turn off to most potential buyers. The final motor released was a 1435cc overhead valve unit and was sold as a side car rig. Unfortunately, lubrication problems plagued the motors, and the company stopped production in 1922.
