The Meyers SR was a series of fiberglass kit cars that were first introduced in 1970. The SR was created to be a sporty, on-road vehicle, and like most Meyers cars, was built on a Volkswagen Beetle platform. A later evolution known as the SR2 was built under license by other manufacturers until 1973, although B.F. Meyers & Company ended operations in 1971.
