The SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY was powered by Mercedes' M271 DE18LA engine, which was a 1.8L supercharged inline four that generated 181hp. This power was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual or 7 speed automatic transmission. Production of the SLK200 BlueEFFICIENCY ended in 2015, when Mercedes renamed the SLK the SLC-Class.
