In 2000, Mercedes-Benz introduced their fourth generation S-Class, the W220. A 4 door luxury sedan, the W220 was available with a variety of V6, V8, and V12 engines depeding on final specifications. Variants produced include the S320 / S320 L, S350 / S350 L, S400 CDI, S430 / S430 L, 430 4MATIC, S500 / S500 L, S500 4MATIC, S500 Pullman, S600 / S600 L, S600 Pullman, S55 AMG, and the top of the range S65 AMG. The W220 was in production until it was replaced for 2006 by the W221 S-Class.
