The Mercedes-Benz G320 Cabriolet was a variant of the W463 G-Class that was introduced for the 1995 model year. The G 320 Cabriolet was also offered in short and long wheelbases wagons. Initially, the G320 was fitted with Mercedes' M104 E32 engine, which was a 3.2L inline six that generated 208hp and 221 lb ft of torque. This inline six was used until 1998, when Mercedes decided to replace it with their M112 E32 engine. The M112 E32 was a 3.2L V6 powerplant that generated 215hp and 221 lb ft of torque. Only automatic transmissions were offered for the G320 Cabriolet, although the inline six featured a 4 speed automatic, and the V6 featured a 5 speed automatic. Both transmissions sent drive to all four wheels. The Mercedes-Benz G320 Cabriolet ended production in 2006.
