The Mercedes-Benz E240 was a variant of the W211 E-Class Sedan that debuted for the 2003 model year. The E240 was powered by Mercedes' M112 E 26 engine, which was a 2.6L V6 that had an output of 175hp and 181 lb ft of torque. Drive from this engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed Manual or 5-Speed Automatic. Although the E240 was rear wheel drive, an all wheel drive version known as the E240 4MATIC paired to a 5-Speed Automatic was also offered. The W211 Mercedes-Benz E240 was built until 2005.
