The Mercedes-Benz E50 AMG was a limited production, high performance variant of the W210 E-Class Sedan that was offered for the 1997 model year. The E 50 was powered by Mercedes' M119 E50 AMG engine, which was an AMG-tuned 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 that had an output of 347hp and 354 lb ft of torque. Power from the engine was sent to the rear wheels through a 5 speed automatic transmission. One of the rarer AMG offerings for the W210, the E50 AMG saw just 2,870 built.
