The Mercedes-Benz 250T was a variant of the S123 Wagon that debuted for the 1979 model year. The 250 T was powered by Mercedes' M123.920 engine, which was a carbureted 2.5L inline six. This engine initially had an output of 127hp and 145 lb ft of torque, but from the 1980 model year, this engine saw an increase in output to 140hp and 148 lb ft of torque. This power was sent to the rear wheels via a range of manual or automatic transmission options. Production of the 250T ended in 1982, with a total of 7,704 examples built.
