The Mercedes-GT 63 4MATIC+ was a high performance variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4 Door that debuted for the 2019 model year. The AMG GT63 4MATIC+ was powered by Mercedes' AMG M177 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine which generated 577hp and 664lb ft of torque. Power was sent to all four wheels through AMG's nine-speed Speedshift automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ AWD system. The GT 63 had Drift Mode sending power to the rear wheels only when selected and came standard with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential and rear-wheel steering, featured an MCT gearbox with a wet clutch to handle the extra power and multi-chamber air suspension.
