The McLaren GT was a model of supercars that were introduced for the 2020 model year. Based on the same platform as the McLaren 720S, the GT was built in a coupe body style, and featured a mid-mounted V8 engine. This engine was McLaren's M840TE powerplant, which is a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that has an output of 612hp. This powerful engine sent drive to the rear wheels through a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. As the GT was created to be able to be used as a daily driver, it features additional cargo space over the engine that was capable of fitting a full size set of golf clubs. Even with its increased usability, the McLaren GT is still an incredibly capable road car worthy of the McLaren name.
