The Marcos GT was manufactured by Marcos between 1964 and 1993. It was the name used by Marcos for all their cars before the Marcos Mantis was released. The GT is a 2-door coupe that during the years had different engine options that ranged from a 1.5L inline four to a 3.0L V6 and the engine displacement gives the name to the different variants available such as GT1500, GT1800, GT2500 or GT3000. The earlier Marcos GT were powered by Volvo engines, but later some Ford and Triumph powertrains were introduced.
