The third generation of Lotus Exige is known as the Series 3. Introduced in 2012, the S3 Exige saw the introduction of a V6 engine. This engine upgrade separated the Exige from the Elise, moving the model upmarket. Notable variants include the Sport 350, and Sport 450. This generation of Exige was not offered for sale in the North American market.
