The Lotus Evora Base was the original model in the first Evora series, equipped with a Toyota-sourced 3.5L V6 engine (2GR-FE) and available with either a manual or automatic transmission. Often referred to as the “2+2” due to its seating configuration, the Base Evora represented the standard offering in the lineup until Lotus expanded it with the introduction of the supercharged Evora S. Production of the Base version ceased with the arrival of the 400 series in 2015, which was later joined by additional high-performance variants.
