The Lincoln Mark V, also known as the Continental Mark V, was introduced for the 1977 model year. Part of the Lincoln Mark Series, the Mark V was a luxury coupe available with a 6.6L or 7.5L V8 engine. The Mark V is considered to be one of the last traditional full-size American cars, as successors would be downsized. The Lincoln Mark V was in production until 1979 and was replaced by the Lincoln Mark VI.
