The Lincoln EL Series was introduced in 1949. The EL Series was a range of full size luxury cars available as sedans, coupes, and convertibles. Like the H Series before it, EL Series cars were marketed as just Lincoln (Lincoln Sedan, Lincoln Convertible, etc). The Lincoln EL Series was offered with a 5.5L V8 engine and was in production until 1951.
