Lexus introduced their LFA supercar for the 2012 model year. This highly developed car was created in order to give Lexus a halo model that would help give the marque prestige and visibility. The Lexus LFA was a 2 door lightweight coupe powered by a highly tuned 4.8L V10 engine. While the Base Model LFA was an incredibly capable car, a limited number of LFAs were also offered with the Nürburgring Package, which was a track-focused package that increased power as well as numerous small drivetrain and suspension tweaks. Only available for the 2012 model year, just a total of 500 LFAs were built before production ended.
