The second generation of Range Rover Sport was introduced for the 2014 model year. The second generation Range Rover Sport featured an updated design, as well as a new monocoque construction technique which made the new generation considerably lighter. The second gen Range Rover Sport was fitted with a variety of engines, including a hybrid inline four and a top of the line 5.0L supercharged V8.
