The Land Rover 101 Forward Control was a light truck variant built for the British Army. The 101 Forward Control was designed to have the strength to tow a field gun and carry its ammunition and be easily transported by air. Also known as the One Tonne, because of its cargo capacity, this military utility truck was equipped with the 3.5 litre Rover V8 engine, sending power to all 4 wheels. The 101 FC was not offered to the public and ended production in 1979.
